Two-year remote cybersecurity consulting engagement assessing technical-control effectiveness and compliance across infrastructure, cloud, applications and critical assets. The position sits within Cybersecurity & GRC and the sections below preserve the vacancy-specific scope and conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate cybersecurity controls against regulatory requirements, frameworks, MBSS and secure baselines.
- Conduct periodic/ad-hoc compliance assessments for critical assets.
- Review controls and manage evidence, audits, findings and corrective actions.
- Support risk assessments, KPIs/KRIs and management/regulatory reporting.
- Maintain cybersecurity compliance policies, standards and procedures and monitor regulatory changes.
- Assess firewalls, external systems, cloud, SIEM, hardening, backup/DR/BCP, SSDLC and vulnerability/penetration-testing gaps.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 8–10 years of experience.
- Experience conducting technical cybersecurity compliance assessments against regulations, frameworks and MBSS.
- Ability to test control implementation/effectiveness and recommend remediation.
- Experience with secure baselines/golden images, hardening, firewalls, internet-facing systems, cloud, SIEM, SSDLC, vulnerability and penetration-test results, backup/DR/BCP controls, audit evidence and corrective actions.
- Ability to develop policies, standards, procedures, dashboards, KPIs and KRIs.
