Remote Head of QHSE

Details
We are hiring a Head of QHSE to lead and manage all Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental activities for the MM Maydan Mahzam Field Redevelopment Project. The role is responsible for ensuring full compliance with QatarEnergy corporate requirements, departmental guidelines, IMS certification standards, and regulatory HSE obligations.

Responsibilities

You will provide project-wide oversight of quality and HSE performance and lead the implementation and management of QHSE systems across all project phases. You will be responsible for developing and managing QHSE plans, procedures, specifications, and risk registers, while ensuring compliance with project, corporate, regulatory, and international standards.

Requirements

Candidates should have a minimum of 20 years of experience in Quality and HSE Management within offshore oil and gas projects. Experience is required across all project phases, including concept, FEED, detailed engineering, and EPIC/execution. At least 5 years in a senior QHSE leadership role with a major Operator, EPC/EPIC contractor, or international consultant is required.

Technical Requirements

Strong knowledge of QHSE and environmental regulations, international codes, and standards is essential. Candidates should have proven experience developing project QHSE plans, procedures, specifications, and risk registers. Hands-on experience in incident investigations, NCR/CAR management, audits, and corrective actions is required, along with experience as a QHSE auditor for project and contract activities.

 Remote Senior Electrical Engineer 

We are hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in Combined Cycle Gas Turbine power plants, covering gas and steam systems. The role is responsible for delivering technical design and engineering services in Electrical Engineering for assigned projects, while leveraging deep expertisand hands-on experience with electrical systems in large-scale CCGT power plants.


Responsibilities

You will ensure technical excellence and compliance with QatarEnergy standards, while maintaining quality, schedule, cost efficiency, and adherence to HSE requirements. You will contribute to the design, operation, integration, specification, and technical coordination of electrical systems for major power plant projects.

Requirements

Candidates should have expertise in electrical systems for CCGT power plants, including design, operation, and integration. Proven experience with high-voltage systems up to 400 kV and large-scale power plant projects is required. Experience collaborating with major OEMs such as Siemens, GE, and MHI for gas and steam turbine integration is also required.

Technical Requirements

Candidates should be skilled in specifying large transformers above 500 MVA and generator circuit breakers rated 22–24 kV. Strong knowledge of auxiliary systems is required, including DC/AC UPS, EDG, bus ducts, capacitor banks, lighting, earthing, cable routing, and small power. A comprehensive understanding of grid codes is essential, with KAHRAMAA experience preferred, including power control, synchronization, stability, fault ride-through, island operation, and compliance testing.

 Remote Senior EPIC Project Manager

Responsibilities

You will act as the Project Manager’s primary deputy and be accountable for day-to-day coordination, decision-making, and execution oversight for all EPIC activities. This includes engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover.

Project Scope

The EPIC scope includes a new Production Station PS3 bridge connected to the existing complex, consisting of a Process Platform PS3K, Utilities and Living Quarters Platform PS3L, MJ Separation and Compression PS3M, Riser Platform PS3R, flare, and interconnecting bridges with structural props. The scope also includes Brownfield modifications to existing PS3A, PS3B, and PS3C, HV electrical modifications and civil works at Halul Island, a structural prop and new four-leg jacket with topside for injection wells, and structural props support platforms at several remote WHJs.

Requirements

Candidates should have at least 10 years of experience in senior Project Management roles delivering large offshore packages. Proven leadership in delivering multi-billion USD EPIC contracts is required, including Topsides, Jackets, Brownfield modifications, offshore construction, installation, and commissioning.

 Remote Contracts Engineer 

Details
We are hiring a Contracts Engineer to provide professional advice, expertise, and practical assistance to the OV organization in managing the OV Manpower Call-Off Contract and any new tendering or contractual matters from tender scope preparation through to contract closeout.

Responsibilities

You will support contractual matters from the inception of tender scope preparation until contract closeout. You will assist with preparation, evaluation, negotiation, and management of tenders and contracts, especially large-scale and complex contracts with diverse technical and commercial requirements.

Requirements

Candidates should have 15 years of multi-disciplinary experience, including at least 10 years in the oil and gas industry or with major industrial structures. Experience is required in the preparation, evaluation, and negotiation of large-scale contracts with complexity and diversity.

Educational Qualifications

A BSc in an Engineering discipline or Quantity Surveying is required. A postgraduate qualification in Contract Management or Project Management is desirable.

Remote Instrument Technician 

Details

We are hiring an Instrument Technician to carry out troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, overhaul, and calibration of different types of field instruments installed in QatarEnergy Refinery plants or units, as assigned by the Lead Instrument Engineer.

Responsibilities

You will troubleshoot, maintain, repair, overhaul, and calibrate field instruments across refinery plant units. You will work with measurement principles, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and overhauling of various field instruments, while supporting safe and reliable plant operations.
Requirements
Candidates should have at least 6 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in the refinery, oil and gas, or petrochemical industry. Sound knowledge of measurement principles, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and overhauling of various field instruments is required.

Technical Requirements

Knowledge of hazardous area classification and smart field instrument interfaces with DCS and PLC systems is desirable. Knowledge of international standards and best practices of instrumentation in refining, oil and gas, and petrochemical industries is an added advantage. Candidates should be highly proficient with excellent command of spoken and written English. Work experience in the Arabian Gulf countries is desirable.
