Remote Software Operation Engineer – Support, Automate, and Optimize Production Systems
We are hiring a Software Operation Engineer to join the team in a remote capacity. The ideal candidate will provide technical support for software applications, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This role requires a stable, high-speed internet connection to facilitate seamless communication and support for clients.
Responsibilities
You will provide maintenance and technical support for software applications, generate reports to meet business and client needs, test newly developed components, and deploy them into production systems. You will provide feedback to the development team based on users’ and customers’ input, follow up on bug fixes, create and maintain monitoring scripts to enhance system reliability, develop small software components to automate and improve systems, and manage and troubleshoot system databases to ensure data availability and performance.Requirements
Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in software support or a related field, excellent knowledge of SQL, good knowledge of Linux commands, proven capabilities in software manual testing, knowledge of any scripting language to automate tasks, and basic knowledge of PostgreSQL DB. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is required.
