Brand Manager
Job Duties Include But Are Not Limited To
- Develop brand communication which effectively reflects the brand objectives in order to build brand equity.
- Provide brand direction to develop and execute product/brand marketing programs to build brand awareness and increase sales.
- Develop Brand strategies based on consumer insights from consumer research and Trackers for Kuwait and International markets in order to improve brand health.
- Review market research to anticipate competition, monitor competitors activities and market trends and translate consumer attitudes into new branding directions.
- Communicate brand strategies to marketing communications, sales, and other department.
- Coordinate and align brand strategy with corporate marketing plan.
- Coordinate with marketing support department to develop advertising and promotional programs, pricing, positioning, and packaging.
- Assess and develop brand names to differentiate product.
- Monitoring, planning and coordinating product launch.
- Guide creation of product portfolio.
Ice Cream Production Manager
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Achieve operational performance targets (e.g., safety, OEE, yield loss, product quality, on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, transactional accuracy), proactively identifying and addressing trends that could impact performance.
- Drive operational improvements necessary to achieve the annual operating plan, ensuring cost efficiency, workforce and equipment optimization, and timely production within budget.
- Develop employees through upskilling and reskilling programs, defining and managing training needs within the department.
- Embed lean methodologies across the entire manufacturing value chain.
- Optimize plant operations to maintain a leadership position in the industry and stay updated with latest manufacturing trends.
- Manage staffing levels, conduct transparent performance evaluations, oversee employee disciplinary actions when required, and recognize outstanding performance.
- Foster a digitally adept workforce to enhance productivity through technological advancements.
- Ensure the plant and equipment always remain “audit-ready”—clean, well-maintained, and in optimal condition.
- Adhere to company policies, departmental procedures, and health, safety, and environmental regulations set by KDD and the State of Kuwait.
- Establish and drive a performance control management system on the shop floor.
- Identify improvement opportunities and propose capital projects with clear justifications.
- Execute top management directives as needed.
- Deliver high-quality frozen desserts and bakery products, leveraging expertise in ice cream and other frozen desserts.
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Dairy Science & Technology, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in Dairy Science & Technology, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Preferred: MBA, Lean Six Sigma, or Lean Practitioner certification.

Product Development Manager
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Formulation of ingredient/process recipes and product-related procedures.
- Building relation with suppliers to explore new ingredients and technologies for new products and ingredient matching purposes.
- Preparation and update technical specifications and product declarations.
- Follow up on matters relating to recipe, procedures, equipment, and quality on new products after commercial trials.
- Conduct laboratory scale trials and supervise pilot plant trials.
- Updating records of planning and status reports of activities.
- Taking lead role in troubleshooting exercises.
- Developing new product concepts and prototypes.
- Conducting product testing and evaluation.
- Ensuring that new products meet KDD`s quality standards.
- Complying with all relevant regulations.
Required Qualification:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of Food / Dairy Technology.
- Work Experience: Minimum required experience of 7 years of experience in the field of food innovation/development.
