1. English Tutor – Remote Work
Upedia Academy is seeking enthusiastic and qualified English Language Instructors to deliver private online English lessons. This role is fully remote and offers flexible scheduling to accommodate students worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students’ language skills and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning progress.
Design and deliver engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and proficiency levels.
Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating online class environment.
Monitor student progress regularly and communicate with students/parents about achievements and areas for improvement.
Participate in professional development programs to enhance teaching skills and stay updated with modern pedagogical techniques.
Incorporate innovative teaching methodologies and tools to improve student engagement.
Adapt teaching approaches to meet the diverse needs of learners from various cultural and educational backgrounds.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
Strong command of English (spoken and written) – B2 to C1 level.
TEFL, CELTA, or TESOL certifications are a plus.
Experience using ZOOM or similar virtual meeting platforms for teaching.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with students.
Ability to create a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Knowledge of language teaching methodologies and commitment to continuous improvement.
Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate different learning paces and styles.
