1. Virtual Medical Assistant (Insurance with HMO & PPO, ECW) – Remote
Metaplier is seeking a qualified Virtual Medical Assistant with a strong understanding of insurance plans, including HMO and PPO. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using eClinicalWorks (ECW) and a background in medical or pharmacy-related fields. This role requires excellent customer service and communication skills, the ability to handle high call volumes efficiently, and familiarity with medical procedures and documentation.
Responsibilities:
Manage patient communications and scheduling.
Handle inquiries related to HMO and PPO insurance plans.
Accurately document patient interactions using ECW.
Coordinate with healthcare providers and insurance companies.
Ensure patient privacy and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Requirements:
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Proven experience managing high call volumes.
Solid understanding of insurance plans (HMO & PPO).
Experience with ECW (eClinicalWorks).
